Jamie Sinclair and Lisa Weagle are leaving the Laurie Ste-Georges foursome.
“After much thought and consideration, Lisa and Jamie have decided to step away from the team to pursue new opportunities and personal endeavours,” read a team statement posted online.
Laurie Ste-GeorgesTeam St-Georges, with the skip and second Emily Riley competing in their fifth STOH national, got off to a fast start in Thunder Bay and finished 5-3 in their pool, missing the playoffs by a single game.
The statement goes on to thank the players and wish them well, stating “(we) will cherish a lifelong friendship with these two wonderful people.”
