From The Hack: Fleury, Karwacki, Plett
In this latest episode of From The Hack, host Frank Roch speaks with three athletes just returned from major competitions.
Up first is Tracy Fleury, who won her first Scotties Tournament of Hearts title when her Ontario team skipped by Rachel Homan defeated Manitoba’s Jennifer Jones to cap an undefeated run in Calgary.
Next up is Krystem Karwacki, the alternate for Team Einarson who was thrust into her team’s starting lineup when a still-mysterious third-party ruling banned regular lead Brian Harris from the Scotties competition on day one.
The final guest is Myla Plett, the young Edmonton skip whp has just returned from the world junior championships in Finland.
