From The Hack: 2024 World Women’s Preview

From The Hack doesn’t hesitate in getting you primed for the next major championship—the women’s world championship, starting this weekend in Sydney, N.S.

Six high-performance competitors—four of them skips— are on the hot seat with FTH host Frank Roch as they pack and head to their respective airports.

First up is four-time defending world champion from Switzerland Alina Paetz, fourth thrower for Silvana Tirinzoni and winner of six global titles in total.

Next up is Canada’s Rachel Homan, skip of the hottest women’s team in the world heading into Sydney. Will the 2017 world champion add a second WWCC jewel to her crown?

The third interview is with Sweden’s Anna Hasselborg, two-time Olympic medallist and 2018 champion who is still looking for that first elusive world title.

Up next is USA skip Tabitha Peterson, looking to get back on the podium following that bronze medal win in 2021.

The fifth sit-down is with Scotland’s Jen Dodds, Olympic champion with Eve Muirhead in Beijing and now working with talented young competitors at another world championship.

Frank’s final session is with new Zealand skip Jessica Smith, who is looking to make noise in her second straight WWCC appearance.
