Olympic curling in PyeongChang
Well, here we are again. Another Olympic Winter Games and this time, with the absence of the NHL hockey pros and the addition of the Mixed Doubles discipline, it is...
ALL.
ABOUT.
CURLING.
As readers of our print editions know, we delivered previews, primers, prognostications and more in our February issue, distributed weeks ago. This also includes a centre-spread fold-out PyeongChang Match Calendar (with game times listed in a North American time zone) plus our ridiculously popular monthly Curling TV/Web Viewing Guide, which is simply the best all-curling-in-all-countries guide you can find anywhere.
As subscribers know, the digital version of the February issue is packed with extra pages of content, and much of the content is enhanced to launch videos, image galleries, webpages, easy-to-read text versions and more. You can join this group of lucky devils by clicking here to subscribe... do so right away, and we'll get the digital issue to your inbox as soon as we can.
Fans of our social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook know that we are all over the action in PyeongChang, and we've got another surprise or two coming up in the days ahead – stay tuned for more on that.
And as an added bonus, our publisher – who competed for Canada at Nagano 1998 – is going to be publishing some never-before-seen images of those Games of 20 years ago, on and off the ice, and all of it exclusive behind-the-scenes stuff. He'll be using his branded Facebook page for those posts – which have already started – so if this retro voyage interests you, follow The Curling Guy.
The Opening Ceremonies are done, and as the montage indicates, the curling athletes had a ball. As they should. Four years of hard work and good fortune have paid off, and they are Olympians.
Join us in following their exploits, their tears and everything in between, as we stay focussed on these Games this month... and also through our final two issues of the season, March and April.
