Thanks Jen. Enjoy the Brier! But...
Although Margo and Dalene won't be in Halifax, we do expect to have another blogstar – and Twitterstar – taking centre stage in the next day or so.
So stay tuned and watch for more, from The Curling News!

First, I have to agree that I did not feel like we had "lost" whatsoever when the women won silver. If I recall correctly, early predictions I read didn't peg Cheryl as a shoe-in for the Gold. When the pressure is on and you have to make every shot, that's not easy. They still make me proud to be Canadian. Even with Silver.

Now, the Brier. I LOVED your blog last year, and I'm sad to see you'll be staying home this year. I stumbled upon it mid-week, and I loved how some of your quirky posts showcased what this event is truly about. Monday I head out to my 3rd Brier, and while I'm still new.. I'm hooked! Although I'm missing the opening weekend (AND THE GOLD MEDALS!), I'll keep my eyes peeled for the hijinx of the week and post accordingly!

Hi Peter, welcome aboard!
Mindful of the increased curling interest everywhere – including in Canada, actually – we were already trying to get that answer for you.
The Sports Network (TSN.ca) will be streaming games via their Video On Demand (VOD) service shortly after each game, but we don't yet know if these games are geo-blocked outside of Canada.
Stay tuned... and be sure to follow our Twitter account, @curling ... where we'll be revealing the answer, hopefully by Friday.

Hahaha... you're not wet, A Melissen. We agree there were some strategic errors – from BOTH teams – late in the Olympic women's final.
But what an amazing game to watch... eh?

I am one of those new American curling fans, so I'm loving this blog. Do you know, is there any online streaming coverage of the Brier?

Okay its good to be nice to the ladies BUT forgetting about the missed shoots in both the 10th and 11th (everyone misses shoots - forgivable) end wasn't the stradegy flawed in both ends. Isn't it fairly standard to "keep it clean" so you don't put yourself into the situation that they found themselves of having the opponents rock crash onto one of their own (in the 10th end) and stay in. Its seems to me that this team really did lose the gold because of fundamental curling strategic errors. Or am I all wet?
